The druids animals are permanent followers with active attack skills...so why do they need to waste space in the very limited quicklaunch bar to exist?
No matter how you play it, be it as elementary mage, bear or wolf you need space for your spells/skills there, but if you need to waste 3 of your 4 slots just to have your unlocked followers following you, they are useless.
I mean, its one thing that they are weak bait if you dont use their active powers, but their very existence as followers is a passive skill. So they should follow you as soon as you have learned the skills, even if you prefer to use the quicklaunch bar for mage/wolf/bear skills.
You also dont need to summon your permanent golem follower once your necromancer unlocked it.
