Items
Item system has been completely reworked, from affix pool composition to affix amount and drop rates per item quality level.
- All items obtained before update 1.0 are now account bound and marked as obsolete. They cannot be tempered or masterworked.
All further changes apply to newly generated items only.

- Implemented Masterworking system. It can be unlocked by completing a new quest at character level 70 or above.
- Legendary items now have a chance to roll Greater affixes with a double value range.
- Legendary aspect storage is now moved to Codex of Power alone. Salvaging any Legendary item will add its power to the Codex, or upgrade an existing aspect if the value roll is greater.
Obsolete Legendary items will also add their powers to the Codex on salvaging, but always with the minimum possible value.
- Slightly increased NPC vendor items quality.
- Adding a socket to an item now spends gold correctly.
Combat system
Damage calculation has been significantly reworked, now it matches the original game version better.
- Fixed order of application for player's damage and defense bonuses.
- Many multiplicative damage bonuses were stacking additively - fixed.
- The character's main stat was increasing damage too strong - fixed.
- Critical damage bonuses incorrectly stacked with base 150% multiplier - fixed.

- Removed monster health modifiers introduced in previous updates. Now monster health matches original game version better.
- Player minions now correctly inherit most character attributes.
Game World
- Adjusted monster types and pack composition in all regions of Sanctuary.
- Implemented Treasure Goblins. Defeating them grants increased amount of gold and items.
- Implemented Shrines and their effects.
- Implemented new Elixirs. They can be obtained from monsters or crafted at Alchemist's.
- Implemented Incenses and their effects. They can be crafted at Alchemist's.

- Significantly increased monster corpse despawn delay (does not affect usable Necromancer corpses).
Quests
- Main story quests now correctly support branching with optional completion order, according to the listed journal objectives.
- The main story can now be skipped after completing Prologue in any game mode.
Reflection Plus and Game Store
- Adjusted Reflection Plus bonus related to Gem shards. Active subscription will now give twice as more shards.
- The wardrobe now contains Pets. Free pet can be obtained after completing tutorial quest.
Considering that we've had looter pet mechanics before the original version implemented them, the RN Plus effect did not change - Your pet will collect loot only while RN Plus is active.
- New Store items from 1.3-1.4 original game versions, including Vessel of Hatred DLC pre-order.
Note that, in the future, Vessel of Hatred content will be available for free, the same as other Reflection Network games. This pre-order purchase will merely grant you unique cosmetic items and will support our hard work.
Seasonal Mode
We remind you that the next Seasonal Mode iteration begins on July, 1st. The season is not yet active right now, and the following features are subject to change at the season launch.
- Seasonal characters can now be created without restrictions, even for brand-new empty accounts.
- Main story now isn't skipped automatically for seasonal characters (you can still skip it manually after Prologue).
- Seasonal characters now aren't deleted at season end. Instead, they will be converted to Eternal characters, keeping all their valuables.
- The seasonal experience gain rate is now the same as in Eternal mode. Seasonal loot rates are not changed.
- Trading between players is now available only in Seasonal mode.
- Changed Seasonal mode design: instead of offering combined seasons quests and mechanics, every new season will rotate to a single theme from one of the original game seasons.
As such, 1-25 Jul will offer Season 4, 1-25 Aug - Season 3, 1-25 Sep - Season 1, then cycle will reset.
- Implemented Gauntlet - Dungeon in Seasonal mode. Players Gauntlet ratings will be displayed both in the game and on our website.
Unlike the original game version, D4R Gauntlet will be reset once per season, not every week.
